14 For it is written: As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God. (Romans 14:11)
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. (Revelation 22:13)
39 See ye that I alone am, and there is no other God besides me: I will kill and I will make to live: I will strike, and I will heal, and there is none that can deliver out of my hand. (Deuteronomy 32:39)
there is only one God who can say this. yes, there are many gods, bible quote:
5 For although there be that are called gods, either in heaven or on earth (for there be gods many and lords many): (1 Corinthians 8:5)
what makes our God so unique? His love, His law, His power, His authority, His justice, His mercy, His beauty. read the bible and you will see how God is.
why to believe in Lord Jesus? this prophecy was made in the old testament, bible quote:
1 Who a hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 And he shall grow up as a tender plant before him, and as a root out of a thirsty ground: there is no beauty in him, nor comeliness: and we have seen him, and there was no sightliness, that we should be desirous of him:
3 Despised, and the most abject of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with infirmity: and his look was as it were hidden and despised, whereupon we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our infirmities and carried our sorrows: and we have thought him as it were a leper, and as one struck by God and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our iniquities, he was bruised for our sins: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by his bruises we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray, every one hath turned aside into his own way: and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was offered because it was his own will, and he opened not his mouth: he shall be led as a sheep to the slaughter, and shall be dumb as a lamb before his shearer, and he shall not open his mouth.
8 He was taken away from distress, and from judgment: who shall declare his generation? because he is cut off out of the land of the living: for the wickedness of my people have I struck him.
9 And he shall give the ungodly for his burial, and the rich for his death: because he hath done no iniquity, neither was there deceit in his mouth.
10 And the Lord was pleased to bruise him in infirmity: if he shall lay down his life for sin, he shall see a longlived seed, and the will of the Lord shall be prosperous in his hand.
11 Because his soul hath laboured, he shall see and be filled: by his knowledge shall this my just servant justify many, and he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I distribute to him very many, and he shall divide the spoils of the strong, because he hath delivered his soul unto death, and was reputed with the wicked: and he hath borne the sins of many, and hath prayed for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53)
Lord Jesus is God because He said what God would have said, but He is not God, He is the Son of God, the One Who judges the world, the Name that saves people, the Only Holy One who was born. Lord Jesus thinks and feels exactly like God. bible quotes:
18 I will raise them up a prophet out of the midst of their brethren like to thee: and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.
19 And he that will not hear his words, which he shall speak in my name, I will be the revenger. (Deuteronomy 18:18-19)
5 And as he was yet speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them. And lo a voice out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him. (Matthew 17:5)
28 You have heard that I said to you: I go away, and I come unto you. If you loved me you would indeed be glad, because I go to the Father: for the Father is greater than I. (John 14:28)
10 And I fell down before his feet, to adore him. And he saith to me: See thou do it not. I am thy fellow servant and of thy brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Adore God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:10)
27 All things are put under him; undoubtedly, he is excepted, who put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then the Son also himself shall be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (1 Corinthians 15:27-28)
22 For neither does the Father judge any man: but hath given all judgment to the Son. (John 5:22)
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? Or how shall they believe him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? (Romans 10:13-14)
18 He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18)
9 Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you and have you not known me? Philip, he that seeth me seeth the Father also. How sayest thou: Shew us the Father? (John 14:9)
it is wrong to worship Lord Jesus, virgin mary, or any other honest man, some say saints.
50 But I seek not my own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. (John 8:50)
45 For the Son of man also is not come to be ministered unto: but to minister and to give his life a redemption for many. (Mark 10:45)
46 As he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him.
47 And one said unto him: Behold thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking thee.
48 But he answering him that told him, said: Who is my mother, and who are my brethren?
49 And stretching forth his hand towards his disciples, he said: Behold my mother and my brethren.
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father, that is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother. (Matthew 12:46-50)
10 As it is written: There is not any man just.
11 There is none that understandeth: there is none that seeketh after God. (Romans 3:10-11)
9 Thus therefore shall you pray: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our supersubstantial bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
the law in brief. bible quotes:
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart and with thy whole soul and with thy whole mind.
38 This is the greatest and the first commandment.
39 And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:36-40)
17 And when he was gone forth into the way, a certain man, running up and kneeling before him, asked him: Good Master, what shall I do that I may receive life everlasting?
18 And Jesus said to him: Why callest thou me good? None is good but one, that is God.
19 Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, bear not false witness, do no fraud, honour thy father and mother. (Mark 10:17-19)
adultery, bible quotes:
16 If a man seduce a virgin not yet espoused, and lie with her: he shall endow her, and have her to wife. (Exodus 22:16)
10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10)
28 But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:28)
32 But I say to you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, excepting the cause of fornication, maketh her to commit adultery: and he that shall marry her that is put away, committeth adultery. (Matthew 5:32)
the enemy, bible quote:
43 You have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thy enemy.
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you: (Matthew 5:43-44)
pray to God, praise God, this is important because the law is hard to keep, but you must try and succeed, bible quote:
1 Judge not, that you may not be judged.
2 For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again. (Matthew 7:1-2)
did Lord Jesus break the sabbath law? why? because love is more important than the law. bible quote:
11 But he said to them: What man shall there be among you, that hath one sheep: and if the same fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not take hold on it and lift it up? (Matthew 12:11)
why is it important to listen to God?
to listen to God's law is very important. it's important for your prosperity, for your health. don't expect at God to give you all you want, expect at God to give you all you need. if you don't listen to the law of God, you will have big problems, you will die in tragic circumstances and being irreconcilable with God. is God bad? have you ever put yourself in the situation of those who suffer because God's law is not respected? what does the husband/wife feel when the partner commits adultery? what does the one who loses something because of a thief feel? what does the lied one, or the deceived one feel? what does a parent feel when the child does not respect him? what do the relatives of the murdered one feel? what does a man feel when he is offended? all you have to have is common sense. bible quote:
31 Be not solicitous therefore, saying: What shall we eat: or what shall we drink, or wherewith shall we be clothed?
32 For after all these things do the heathens seek. For your Father knoweth that you have need of all these things.
33 Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:31-33)
to have all you need, first, be righteous, bible quotes:
24 Every one therefore that heareth these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock,
25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded on a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these my words and doth them not, shall be like a foolish man that built his house upon the sand,
27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof. (Matthew 7:24-27)
1 And there were present, at that very time, some that told him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And he answering, said to them: Think you that these Galileans were sinners above all the men of Galilee, because they suffered such things?
3 No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen upon whom the tower fell in Siloe and slew them: think you that they also were debtors above all the men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 No, I say to you: but except you do penance, you shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:1-5)
if you don't listen to Lord Jesus, expect big problems, and eventually death.
what does God want?
i believe God wants servants worthy of His name, sons. bible quotes:
18 Fly fornication. Every sin that a man doth is without the body: but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (1 Corinthians 6:18)
41 The Son of man shall send his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all scandals, and them that work iniquity.
42 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the just shine as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
44 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hidden in a field. Which a man having found, hid it, and for joy thereof goeth, and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
45 Again the kingdom of heaven is like to a merchant seeking good pearls.
46 Who when he had found one pearl of great price, went his way, and sold all that he had, and bought it.
47 Again the kingdom of heaven is like to a net cast into the sea, and gathering together of all kinds of fishes.
48 Which, when it was filled, they drew out, and sitting by the shore, they chose out the good into vessels, but the bad they cast forth.
49 So shall it be at the end of the world. The angels shall go out, and shall separate the wicked from among the just.
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:41-50)
25 For it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Luke 18:25)
25 Woe to you that are filled: for you shall hunger. Woe to you that now laugh: for you shall mourn and weep.
26 Woe to you when men shall bless you: for according to these things did their fathers to the false prophets. (Luke 6:25-26)
24 Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel. (Matthew 23:24)
20 And being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come, he answering them and said: The kingdom of God cometh not with observation. (Luke 17:20)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts: nor your ways my ways, saith the Lord. (Isaiah 55:8)
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink: but justice and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 14:17)
20 For the kingdom of God is not in speech, but in power. (1 Corinthians 4:20)
the kingdom of God is about what God wants, not about what you want. the difference between christian God and other gods is this: christian God is Holy, real and He demands a certain behavior. God is love, but not only that, God is law and above all, God is God. love and fear God. the bible is full of people who are afraid of God, and that is good. trust God in every second of your life.
pay big attention to these quotes:
7 He that shall overcome shall possess these things. And I will be his God: and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, they shall have their portion in the pool burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Revelation 21:7-8)
22 Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:22-23)
9 Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: Neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers:
10 Nor the effeminate nor liers with mankind nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkards nor railers nor extortioners shall possess the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
the health.
the disease is the result of the sin, or maybe God has a plan to heal you and that to be a sign for those who want to see. you can't heal a man without God. that's why it's so hard to heal a man without surgery. the sinful body member must be cut. even if there are treatments without surgery, your lifestyle must be changed through convalescence, it's like you are repentant. bible quotes:
15 Then, when concupiscence hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin. But sin, when it is completed, begetteth death. (James 1:15)
29 And if thy right eye scandalize thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee. For it is expedient for thee that one of thy members should perish, rather than thy whole body be cast into hell. (Matthew 5:29)
4 And Jesus hearing it, said to them: This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God: that the Son of God may be glorified by it. (John 11:4)
23 And in that day you shall not ask me any thing. Amen, amen, I say to you: if you ask the Father any thing in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto, you have not asked any thing in my name. Ask, and you shall receive; that your joy may be full. (John 16:23-24)
you can ask for health in the name of Lord Jesus.
why we die or suffer?
we die or suffer because we are stray from the path of God, we live in sin. nobody dies, suffers in vain, you die or suffer, as a sinner or as a martyr of God, and everybody sees that you are a martyr of God. bible quotes:
17 But beware of men. For they will deliver you up in councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.
18 And you shall be brought before governors, and before kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles: (Matthew 10:17-18)
9 Or what man is there among you, of whom if his son shall ask bread, will he reach him a stone?
10 Or if he shall ask him a fish, will he reach him a serpent?
11 If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more will your Father who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him? (Matthew 7:9-11)
God is not a sadist.
the biggest problem: sex.
adultery, homosexuality, incest, pedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia are forbidden, the sex must be done only between spouses, you can break up with your wife only if she committed adultery. God says: be fruitful and multiply. He doesn't say: make sex, He doesn't say: make love. the purpose of sex must be procreation. nevertheless, paul says to do your duty as a husband, not to fall into temptation, but he also says this: abstinence is the right way. bible quotes:
19 Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, bear not false witness, do no fraud, honour thy father and mother. (Mark 10:19)
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind: because it is an abomination. (Leviticus 18:22)
6 No man shall approach to her that is near of kin to him, to uncover her nakedness. I am the Lord. (Leviticus 18:6)
41 And whosoever shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me: it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and he were cast into the sea. (Mark 9:41)
19 Whosoever copulateth with a beast; shall be put to death. (Exodus 22:19)
11 He that toucheth the corpse of a man, and is therefore unclean seven days, (Numbers 19:11)
God says this:
28 And God blessed them, saying: Increase and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the air, and all living creatures that move upon the earth. (Genesis 1:28)
paul says this:
1 Now concerning the things whereof you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 But for fear of fornication, let every man have his own wife: and let every woman have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render the debt to his wife: and the wife also in like manner to the husband.
4 The wife hath not power of her own body: but the husband. And in like manner the husband also hath not power of his own body: but the wife.
5 Defraud not one another, except, perhaps, by consent, for a time, that you may give yourselves to prayer: and return together again, lest Satan tempt you for your incontinency.
6 But I speak this by indulgence, not by commandment. (1 Corinthians 7:1-6)
poor people.
if i ruled the world, there would be no poor people. it's our duty to help them, not a little help, but help to live well. what i want is covered by the words of Lord Jesus. who is against that? satanists. even God is an obstacle to this idea because we don't respect His law. this should be done for poor people and any human, a bible to read it and help to live well. bible quotes:
39 And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Matthew 22:39)
42 Give to him that asketh of thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not away. (Matthew 5:42)
24 Judge not according to the appearance: but judge just judgment. (John 7:24)
29 For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: but from him that hath not, that also which he seemeth to have shall be taken away. (Matthew 25:29)
the church should had gather tithes from believers, to worship God, and to help poor people, this is my opinion. bible quote:
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and try me in this, saith the Lord: if I open not unto you the flood-gates of heaven, and pour you out a blessing even to abundance. (Malachi 3:10)
God cares about poor people, and He demands to help them. bible quote:
34 Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in:
36 Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me.
37 Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry and fed thee: thirsty and gave thee drink?
38 Or when did we see thee a stranger and took thee in? Or naked and covered thee?
39 Or when did we see thee sick or in prison and came to thee?
40 And the king answering shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.
41 Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, which was prepared for the devil and his angels.
42 For I was hungry and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty and you gave me not to drink.
43 I was a stranger and you took me not in: naked and you covered me not: sick and in prison and you did not visit me.
44 Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to thee?
45 Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen: I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me.
46 And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting. (Matthew 25:34-46)
drinking alcohol, smoking, taking drugs.
it's better not to do these. your life will go from bad to worse. bible quote:
13 But the angel said to him: Fear not, Zachary, for thy prayer is heard: and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son. And thou shalt call his name John.
14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness: and many shall rejoice in his nativity.
15 For he shall be great before the Lord and shall drink no wine nor strong drink: and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. (Luke 1:13-15)
john the baptist. he didn't drink alcohol, and the bible said, that is good.
sports, arts, movies, music, gambling, gaming.
all these things are incompatible with christianity. bible quotes:
16 Because it is written: You shall be holy, for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:16)
7 But avoid foolish and old wives fables: and exercise thyself unto godliness. (1 Timothy 4:7)
4 Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth. (Exodus 20:4)
what should a christian do all day? he should work for God. always think like this: i am a slave of God.
"intelligence", "astrology", or any kind of guessing the future.
some people mime intelligence. they don't know a single true fact about us, about life. all we know is from experience. even mendeleev's periodic table is a deduction. it is logical, it is the only explanation, but no one saw an atom, an electron, a proton, a neutron ever. if you multiply periodic table with any number it will be the same thing, hydrogen can have 2 electrons or 1 million one electrons. any form of superiority to your neighbor is a wrong attitude. bible quotes:
24 Thus saith the Lord thy redeemer, and thy maker, from the womb: I am the Lord, that make all things, that alone stretch out the heavens, that established the earth, and there is none with me.
25 That make void the tokens of diviners, and make the soothsayers mad. That turn the wise backward, and that make their knowledge foolish. (Isaiah 44:24-25)
7 But he said to them: It is not for you to know the time or moments, which the Father hath put in his own power: (Acts 1:7)
6 The soul that shall go aside after magicians, and soothsayers, and shall commit fornication with them: I will set my face against that soul, and destroy it out of the midst of its people. (Leviticus 20 :6)
25 But Jesus called them to him and said: You know that the princes of the Gentiles lord it over them; and that they that are the greater, exercise power upon them.
26 It shall not be so among you: but whosoever is the greater among you, let him be your minister.
27 And he that will be first among you shall be your servant. (Matthew 20:25-27)
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A good understanding to all that do it: his praise continueth for ever and ever. (Psalm 110:10)
animals.
in the kingdom of God, there will be no killings. we must exercise from here not to kill animals. it's better not to eat meat in excess. don't forget, we need meat for proteins, but you can find proteins in some fruits and vegetables. bible quotes:
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together; the lion and the ox shall eat straw; and dust shall be the serpent's food: they shall not hurt nor kill in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord. (Isaiah 65:25)
3 He that sacrificeth an ox, is as if he slew a man: he that killeth a sheep in sacrifice, as if he should brain a dog: he that offereth an oblation, as if he should offer swine's blood; he that remembereth incense, as if he should bless an idol. All these things have they chosen in their ways, and their soul is delighted in their abominations. (Isaiah 66:3)
animals you can eat:
3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat. (Leviticus 11:3)
fishes you can eat:
9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat. (Leviticus 11:9)
birds and insects you can eat:
20 Of things that fly, whatsoever goeth upon four feet, shall be abominable to you.
21 But whatsoever walketh upon four (my note, two feet) feet, but hath the legs behind longer, wherewith it hoppeth upon the earth, (my note, you can eat this)
22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. (Leviticus 11:20-22)
the killings for food will cease someday, but now it is allowed. God gave us permission to eat meat.
earthquakes, floods, fires, storms, tornadoes, tsunamis, accidents, pandemics etc.
they all happen when people don't listen to God. bible quote:
1 And there were present, at that very time, some that told him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And he answering, said to them: Think you that these Galileans were sinners above all the men of Galilee, because they suffered such things?
3 No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen upon whom the tower fell in Siloe and slew them: think you that they also were debtors above all the men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 No, I say to you: but except you do penance, you shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:1-5)
sabbath, holidays, working, bible quotes:
14 Three times every year you shall celebrate feasts to me. (Exodus 23:14)
10 Six years thou shalt sow thy ground, and shalt gather the corn thereof.
11 But the seventh year thou shalt let it alone, and suffer it to rest, that the poor of thy people may eat, and whatsoever shall be left, let the beasts of the field eat it: so shalt thou do with thy vineyard and thy oliveyard.
12 Six days thou shalt work: the seventh day thou shalt cease, that thy ox and thy ass may rest: and the son of thy handmaid and the stranger may be refreshed. (Exodus 23:10-12)
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink or in respect of a festival day or of the new moon or of the sabbaths, (Colossians 2:16)
what should we understand from these quotes? do whatever is necessary anytime. i believe the day of rest had a purpose when people didn't know what mercy is. i believe the day of rest is still valid, but if something is urgent, you should break the law. also, i believe our 3 holidays are: easter, christmas, the new year. remember, we count the years after Lord Jesus.
hair, beard, tattoo, bible quotes:
27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. (Leviticus 19:27)
you can't shave the beard and the hair round.
14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? (1 Corinthians 11:14)
you can't wear long hair.
28 You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh, for the dead: neither shall you make in yourselves any figures or marks. I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:28)
you can't have tattoos.
if you think God asks for the impossible, so it is. bible quote:
26 Who wondered the more, saying among themselves: Who then can be saved?
27 And Jesus looking on them, saith with men it is impossible; but not with God. For all things are possible with God. (Mark 10:26-27)
in christianity, the law is important, the love is important, the mercy is important, the fear of God is important. bible quotes:
15 If you love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)
39 And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Matthew 22:39)
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. (Matthew 5:7)
43 And fear came upon every soul. Many wonders also and signs were done by the apostles in Jerusalem: and there was great fervor in all. (Acts 2:43)
sins, forgiveness. bible quotes:
31 Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven. (Matthew 12:31)
14 For if you will forgive men their offences, your heavenly Father will forgive you also your offences.
15 But if you will not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive you your offences. (Matthew 6:14-15)
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
don't love your life. bible quote:
25 He that loveth his life shall lose it and he that hateth his life in this world keepeth it unto life eternal. (John 12:25)
we must die for Lord Jesus, bible quote:
24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: for he that shall lose his life for my sake shall save it. (Luke 9:24)
don't resist evil ones. bible quote:
39 But I say to you not to resist evil: but if one strike thee on thy right cheek, turn to him also the other: (Matthew 5:39)
but resist to the devil, bible quote:
Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil: and he will fly from you. (Jacob 4:7)
be obedient to authorities, bible quotes:
1 Let every soul be subject to higher powers. For there is no power but from God: and those that are ordained of God.
2 Therefore, he that resisteth the power resisteth the ordinance of God. And they that resist purchase to themselves damnation. (Romans 13:1-2)
13 Be ye subject therefore to every human creature for God's sake: whether it be to the king as excelling,
14 Or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of the good. (1 Peter 2:13-14)
golden rules, bible quotes:
12 All things therefore whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you also to them. For this is the law and the prophets. (Matthew 7:12)
11 Because every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled: and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. (Luke 14:11)
10 He that shall lead into captivity shall go into captivity: he that shall kill by the sword must be killed by the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. (Revelation 13:10)
behavior:
read the bible, matthew, chapters 5, 6, and 7, learn how to behave in christianity.
1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain, and when he was set down, his disciples came unto him.
2 And opening his mouth he taught them, saying:
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land.
5 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
6 Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the clean of heart: they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake:
12 Be glad and rejoice for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you.
13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt lose its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing anymore but to be cast out, and to be trodden on by men.
14 You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house.
16 So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
17 Do not think that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For amen I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot, or one tittle shall not pass of the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 He therefore that shall break one of these least commandments, and shall so teach men shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. But he that shall do and teach, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I tell you, that unless your justice abound more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
21 You have heard that it was said to them of old: Thou shalt not kill. And whosoever shall kill, shall be in danger of the judgment.
22 But I say to you, that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgment. And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council. And whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
23 If therefore thou offer thy gift at the altar, and there thou remember that thy brother hath anything against thee;
24 Leave there thy offering before the altar, and go first to be reconciled to thy brother, and then coming thou shalt offer thy gift.
25 Be at agreement with thy adversary betimes, whilst thou art in the way with him: lest perhaps the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
26 Amen I say to thee, thou shalt not go out from thence till thou repay the last farthing.
27 You have heard that it was said to them of old: Thou shalt not commit adultery.
28 But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart.
29 And if thy right eye scandalize thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee. For it is expedient for thee that one of thy members should perish, rather than thy whole body be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is expedient for thee that one of thy members should perish, rather than that thy whole body go into hell.
31 And it hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a bill of divorce.
32 But I say to you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, excepting the cause of fornication, maketh her to commit adultery: and he that shall marry her that is put away, committeth adultery.
33 Again you have heard that it was said to them of old, thou shalt not forswear thyself: but thou shalt perform thy oaths to the Lord.
34 But I say to you not to swear at all, neither by heaven for it is the throne of God:
35 Nor by the earth, for it is his footstool: nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great king:
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37 But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.
38 You have heard that it hath been said: An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.
39 But I say to you not to resist evil: but if one strike thee on thy right cheek, turn to him also the other:
40 And if a man will contend with thee in judgment, and take away thy coat, let go thy cloak also unto him.
41 And whosoever will force thee one mile, go with him other two.
42 Give to him that asketh of thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not away.
43 You have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thy enemy.
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you:
45 That you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven, who maketh his sun to rise upon the good, and bad, and raineth upon the just and the unjust.
46 For if you love them that love you, what reward shall you have? do not even the publicans this?
47 And if you salute your brethren only, what do you more? do not also the heathens this?
48 Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5)
1 Take heed that you do not your justice before men, to be seen by them: otherwise you shall not have a reward of your Father who is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou dost an alms-deed, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be honoured by men. Amen I say to you, they have received their reward.
3 But when thou dost alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doth.
4 That thy alms may be in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret will repay thee.
5 And when ye pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, that love to stand and pray in the synagogues and corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men: Amen I say to you, they have received their reward.
6 But thou when thou shalt pray, enter into thy chamber, and having shut the door, pray to thy Father in secret, and thy father who seeth in secret will repay thee.
7 And when you are praying, speak not much, as the heathens. For they think that in their much speaking they may be heard.
8 Be not you therefore like to them for your Father knoweth what is needful for you, before you ask him.
Amen.
14 For if you will forgive men their offences, your heavenly Father will forgive you also your offences.
15 But if you will not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive you your offences.
16 And when you fast, be not as the hypocrites, sad. For they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Amen I say to you, they have received their reward.
17 But thou, when thou fastest anoint thy head, and wash thy face;
18 That thou appear not to men to fast, but to thy Father who is in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret, will repay thee.
19 Lay not up to yourselves treasures on earth: where the rust, and moth consume, and where thieves break through, and steal.
20 But lay up to yourselves treasures in heaven: where neither the rust nor moth doth consume, and where thieves do not break through, nor steal.
21 For where thy treasure is, there is thy heart also.
22 The light of thy body is thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body shall be lightsome.
23 But if thy eye be evil thy whole body shall be darksome. If then the light that is in thee, be darkness: the darkness itself how great shall it be!
24 No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
25 Therefore I say to you, be not solicitous for your life, what you shall eat, nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than the meat: and the body more than the raiment?
26 Behold the birds of the air, for they neither sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns: and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not you of much more value than they?
27 And which of you by taking thought, can add to his stature one cubit?
28 And for raiment why are you solicitous? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they labour not, neither do they spin.
29 But I say to you, that not even Solomon in all his glory was arrayed as one of these.
30 And if the grass of the field, which is to day, and to morrow is cast into the oven, God doth so clothe: how much more you, O ye of little faith?
31 Be not solicitous therefore, saying: What shall we eat: or what shall we drink, or wherewith shall we be clothed?
32 For after all these things do the heathens seek. For your Father knoweth that you have need of all these things.
33 Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.
34Be not therefore solicitous for to morrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6)
1 Judge not, that you may not be judged.
2 For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why seest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye; and seest not the beam that is in thy own eye?
4 Or how sayest thou to thy brother: Let me cast the mote out of thy eye; and behold a beam is in thy own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thy own eye, and then shalt thou see to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
6 Give not that which is holy to dogs; neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turning upon you, they tear you.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and you shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you.
8 For every one that asketh, receiveth: and he that seeketh, findeth: and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
12 All things therefore whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you also to them. For this is the law and the prophets.
13 Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in thereat.
14 How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it!
15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, and the evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
28 And it came to pass when Jesus had fully ended these words, the people were in admiration at his doctrine.
29 For he was teaching them as one having power, and not as the scribes and Pharisees. (Matthew 7)
ideas:
is the old testament still valid?
yes, but Lord Jesus taught us what mercy is. no judging, no killings. bible quote:
17 Do not think that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For amen I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot, or one tittle shall not pass of the law, till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:17-18)
1 Judge not, that you may not be judged.
2 For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again. (Matthew 7:1-2)
the justice of today, is it necessary?
yes, but as a christian, you can't judge. let the world judge the world. bible quotes:
25 Be at agreement with thy adversary betimes, whilst thou art in the way with him: lest perhaps the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
26 Amen I say to thee, thou shalt not go out from thence till thou repay the last farthing. (Matthew 5:25-26)
57 And why, even of yourselves, do you not judge that which is just? (Luke 12:57)
to live is hard?
yes, but, bible quotes:
8 In all things we suffer tribulation: but are not distressed. We are straitened: but are not destitute. (2 Corinthians 4:8)
29 Take up my yoke upon you, and learn of me, because I am meek, and humble of heart: And you shall find rest to your souls. (Matthew 11:29)
fasting. is it necessary?
yes. bible quote:
18 And the disciples of John and the Pharisees used to fast. And they come and say to him: Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast; but thy disciples do not fast?
19 And Jesus saith to them: Can the children of the marriage fast, as long as the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
20 But the days will come when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them: and then they shall fast in those days. (Mark 2:18-20)
what is The Holy Spirit?
i believe The Holy Spirit is the spirit of knowledge God sent to us through Lord Jesus, bible quote:
26 But the Paraclete, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring all things to your mind, whatsoever I shall have said to you. (John 14:26)
remarriage, remarriage after the death of a spouse, multiple spouses, homosexual marriage. bible quote:
2 And the Pharisees coming to him asked him, tempting him: Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife?
3 But he answering, saith to them: What did Moses command you?
4 Who said: Moses permitted to write a bill of divorce and to put her away.
5 To whom Jesus answering, said: Because of the hardness of your heart, he wrote you that precept.
6 But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
7 For this cause, a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife.
8 And they two shall be in one flesh. Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh.
9 What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.
10 And in the house again his disciples asked him concerning the same thing.
11 And he saith to them: Whosoever shall put away his wife and marry another committeth adultery against her.
12 And if the wife shall put away her husband and be married to another, she committeth adultery. (Mark 10:2-12)
you have a spouse for the rest of your life. that's it. how does this work for every human? i don't know. bible quote:
28 Saying: Master, Moses wrote unto us: If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he leave no children, that his brother should take her to wife and raise up seed unto his brother.
29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife and died without children.
30 And the next took her to wife: and he also died childless.
31 And the third took her. And in like manner, all the seven: and they left no children and died.
32 Last of all the woman died also.
33 In the resurrection therefore, whose wife of them shall she be? For all the seven had her to wife.
34 And Jesus said to them: The children of this world marry and are given in marriage:
35 But they that shall be accounted worthy of that world and of the resurrection from the dead shall neither be married nor take wives.
36 Neither can they die any more for they are equal to the angels and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. (Luke 20:28-36)
we are married only in this world. what does this mean? i don't know. bible quote:
5 When brethren dwell together, and one of them dieth without children, the wife of the deceased shall not marry to another: but his brother shall take her, and raise up seed for his brother:
6 And the first son he shall have of her he shall call by his name, that his name be not abolished out of Israel.
7 But if he will not take his brother's wife, who by law belongeth to him, the woman shall go to the gate of the city, and call upon the ancients, and say: My husband's brother refuseth to raise up his brother's name in Israel: and will not take me to wife.
8 And they shall cause him to be sent for forthwith, and shall ask him. If he answer: I will not take her to wife:
9 The woman shall come to him before the ancients, and shall take off his shoe from his foot, and spit in his face, and say: So shall it be done to the man that will not build up his brother's house:
10 And his name shall be called in Israel, the house of the unshod. (Deuteronomy 25:5-10)
it may look strange, but i believe, it is pure common sense. God shows to all His grace, and caringness against apparently morality.
sacrifices and rituals
you know, maybe, the hebrews made sacrifices in the desert at God's commandment. i believe , according to the bible, this is no longer the law. remember, God is always right, having said that, i believe God wanted to show this: any sin has a price, and it is bad. God wants pure, true worshipers. bible quotes:
3 He that sacrificeth an ox, is as if he slew a man: he that killeth a sheep in sacrifice, as if he should brain a dog: he that offereth an oblation, as if he should offer swine's blood; he that remembereth incense, as if he should bless an idol. All these things have they chosen in their ways, and their soul is delighted in their abominations. (Isaiah 66:3)
23 But the hour cometh and now is, when the true adorers shall adore the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father also seeketh such to adore him. (John 4:23)
slavery
people must work to survive. it is no shame to work for a good man. in the bible, there are firm rules for masters to behave right. bible quote:
15 Thou shalt not deliver to his master the servant that is fled to thee. (Deuteronomy 23:15)
this is one of many, be a slave only for God, for His Son, be a friend.
rape, bible quote:
23 If a man have espoused a damsel that is a virgin, and some one find her in the city, and lie with her,
24 Thou shalt bring them both out to the gate of that city, and they shall be stoned: the damsel, because she cried not out, being in the city: the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife. And thou shalt take away the evil from the midst of thee.
25 But if a man find a damsel that is betrothed, in the field, and taking hold of her, lie with her, he alone shall die:
26 The damsel shall suffer nothing, neither is she guilty of death: for as a robber riseth against his brother, and taketh away his life, so also did the damsel suffer:
27 She was alone in the field: she cried, and there was no man to help her.
28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, who is not espoused, and taking her, lie with her, and the matter come to judgment:
29 He that lay with her shall give to the father of the maid fifty sicles of silver, and shall have her to wife, because he hath humbled her: he may not put her away all the days of his life. (Deuteronomy 22:23-29)
if a damsel is old enough to be unsupervised. why to work for her family when she can have a husband? keep in mind, if she was a damsel, nobody was interested of her. i believe the common sense is that she's to have a husband. i believe marriage doesn't apply to children. in the bible, there are no rules for and about children, i believe God let us raise our children how we want. why? to feel responsabily. anyway, Lord Jesus warned us in this quote:
6 But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. (Matthew 18:6)
killing at God's commandment
God can't be judged, He is always right if you want or don't. having said that, i believe the religion of God couldn't survive in a mixed population, in mixed religions.
why do children die? why so many terrible diseases? God loves us at any age. if He favors children, then He wouldn't be the God we love. yes, we are all sensitive when it comes to children, and i think God knows that. if there were no terrible diseases, the world wouldn't be afraid of God, we would have been overly sinful, and life would be an eternal hell. sinners must pay or, at least, understand justice and repent.
beating your wife and children, is it ok?
no. make them understand they depend on you, if you are an honest man God will help you.
the shape of the earth
in the bible, there is no reference to the shape of the earth. i believe people were not ready to know the shape of the earth. i will say how you can know the earth is round. first you must imagine the earth is flat. if the earth is flat, you can't see the moon phases. it's impossible. the only explanation, the earth is round.
